Donor Harvesting
A strip of skin is taken from the back and/or sides of the head, and the area is stitched together where the strip was removed. The donor area is sutured with a nylon closure, which will result in a fine-line scar hidden under your hair on the back of your head. For more information, click on Donor Study.
